carbon decals

has anyone had any experience of using these, or having any tips, do's and dont's?

ive just purchased a sheet and intend to use it on my new bike build. i was thinking that the best way forward was to make a template from masking tape..does anyone have any suggestions? How do they behave with microsol, and also should i make several templates for covering complex areas instead of trying to use a single piece of decal sheet?
