    run out of under coat

this ones for the all them that brush paint on i found i by accident while building my revell routemaster i found that the humbrol gloss red needed a few coats on bare plastic so i put a coat of matt red on first and i served like a red undercoat and i got away with only 2 coats of gloss red see my gallery for the results it works for any gloss color so long as you have a matching matt color try it . it works all the time for me

Good tip Peter. However if you had painted it matt Yellow as and undercoat, that red would really of popped!

Yellow certainly makes it pop, sometimes it can look a little "thin" though ...

Try an undercoat with a sun burst orange and see the difference then
