If you are brush painting the best result will come with several thin coats of paint. Remember to leave each coat plenty of time to dry and 'cure', otherwise you risk the previous coats dragging when you put the next one on. Large areas and best tackled with a soft flat brush.

If you are using an airbrush, again the secret is in repeated thin coats. If you are careful you can get away with laying the coats over each other 'wet on wet' That is with out waiting for the first coat to dry fully before spaying the second coat. Just take it nice and slowly and avoid putting to much paint down in one go.
