    scissors inovation

Came across these at my local craft shop.

Naturally as by instinct bought them for about £4:50.

They are very clever you use pressure on the sides to move the blades. All stainless steel. I like to pair down decals to eliminate silvering. Accurate cutting is possible as you have far better control of the cutting edges & are they sharp yes. I have the curved ones but you can also obtain straight types.

I use something very similar for my fly-tying.

won' be using them for modeling as they're that fine, paper will blunten them severely.

Laurie you are a gold mine.

I think it was yourself who came up with the razor blades too...which i now find indispensable, i'll keep my eyes open for a pair of these when the wife next drags me to the craft shop.

They look similar to iridectomy scissors, from my operating theatre days.

To a user of traditional scissors they smack a little bit of the Macbook Wheel
