My fondest memory of a land rover was in 78 my brother in law was in the Royal green jackets and he took me and my brother over Salisbury plains in a short wheel base army spec , the most uncomfortable ride ever but we loved it

It seemed like we were going at 100 mph but we was probably only doing about 20

I started to drive at the age of eighteen, now I’m forty two....and during this period I bought three new Land Rovers.

One 90 (short version) and two 110 (long version).

Apart I am a “REAL” Land Rover Die-Cast collector. I collect only the classic versions (Series and Defender). Is my hobby, and sometimes inclusive, I travelling at France and other places searching for ancient toys events

This is my favourite Land Rover.

Didn't they paint it pink and call it a pink panther?

Seems this colour mixed with the dust of the desert and the light, as well, becomes very effective

And maybe is true...because when I painted mine, and then add the pigments...the colour changes and looks very nice

Thanks Polux, I feel that Landies need that bit of kick in the beefing up department
