        Similar. Like the one below. During the 1970's 3 Para were part of the BAOR and had them. My best mates dad was in the battalion anti-tank platoon and they were the coolest thing for a 7 year old to see.

          its a forward control landie.......always wanted one of those as a Rover 3.5 litre V8 goes in nicely

            Maybe time for a Landrover Sig or GB? Have to admit I have never owned one, never had a full driving licence except for motorbike. However, the Landrover is truly the only vehicle I have lusted over with just a passing fantasy for a 2CV.

              Kit Form Services do a resin 1/24 kit of this for Ā£120 or a 1/2 ton air transportable for Ā£96. They are stunning kits with beautifully cast resin, white metal and brass. Full interior detail and engines.


              I have two of their kits, partly started, the Humber 'Pig' and the Austin Champ.

                Never driven a Land Rover but I have a Subaru Forester which goes almost anywhere in any weather.
