    How to make a Thatched roof

    Hi all I am after making a thatched roof for a dio that is under way, and I am hoping someone out there could give me a few tips in the right direction on how to make a convincing thatched roof in 1:35 scale, all tips and help will be gratefully received

    iv just built a thatched cottage for my son for a video , I used a wallpaper painting brush from home base if you get 1 with natural type hair that looks like a badgers and split it and away you go

      I would be tempted to use a paste brush as the bristles are soft yet long, added to this you can spray or paint prior to cutting. Once cut add to a cardboard base in layers like real thatch.
