Quick Question- 1/35 english road width?

I'm building a diorama with a scratch built english road but i have no idea how wide it should be. Has anyone got any ideas? I'm just talking about a typical 2 way road. Thanks

I don't think there is a standard width. Country lanes can vary from just over 1.5 average car widths to 2-3 widths. It also depends on time-frame is this WW2 or modern - or even earlier?

I reckon about 25' based on guesswork. That would be about 8 and a bit inches in 1/35 scale, based on my dodgy mental arithmetic.

      Cheers

If it helps, I have just measured two 1/35 Tiger tanks, side by side (Obviously a bit wider than your average motor!!) with a small gap and it measures 8 1/2" so you'll do me Steve!
