Hi All,
First post, hope you can help.
My wife is building a stylised model of a gothic cathedral and needs to illuminate it from the inside, but to make it look authentic she would like it to have a dull yellow light rather than a bright white one.
In the past this would have been achieved by running an incandescent (tungsten) lamp through a dimmer switch- the dimmer the lamp the yellower the light. These days it is very difficult to get tungsten light bulbs.
Does anyone have any ideas on what type of lamp can produce a yellow glow? The lamp fitting can be a standard (UK) mains type or anything that would do the job.
TIA,
Neil
