    Scratch built cockpit bulkheads?

Now I have retired, I have returned to model making after a break of several years - work, family, housemoves, I'm sure you'll get the idea. I've dabbled in various types, but now make just 1/72nd planes

I am about to make an old kit which has no interior detail to speak of, just a rudimentary seat on a couple of pegs

Does anyone have an easy way to scratchbuild cockpit floors and bulkheads, please?. To make things clear, I mean getting the cockpit wall shape or profile, and distances, copied onto plastic card.

Hi Zulu , Ive used a profile gauge to get the right shape for bulkheads wheel wells etc with some success. If you can get hold of the type that has thin wire rods rather than the plastic strips then thats better. Heres a link to one of my old builds with a picture of what I mean , I used it to get the shape of the undercarriage bay to make a bulkhead on my whirlwind , http://www.scale-models.co.uk/thread...39/#post-92607 cheers tony
