    Howdy David,

Welcome to the forum, we are glad a found us!. I think you will find quite abit of help here, some directly on this forum and some in the form of links to other sites with information.

But for friendly people to post your thoughts and your model photos and get feedback you are in the right place.

I am going to give you a general link that covers tips for all types of models, a site that I just found out, recently added this site to their list of "forum links". The Link I am giving you has tips about most anything you could want for all types of models (Except card models, although I got them to post a link to that forum also). So, here ya go, http://www.craigcentral.com/modelmain.asp look over this site and then be sure to come back here. We have a search feature at the top of the page that you can use for specific information, just type in what you are looking for and it with show it to you.

And while you are here, let us know what types of models you are interested in, then we can be abit more specific with helping you.

    Have a good day,

    Greg

I'm pretty new to these forums, they seem like a friendly bunch and always plenty of help around to answer any questions you might have.

I'm getting back into modelling after a break of a few years...

A lot of my modelling recently has been the virtual 3D kind, but all that work with a graphics tablet in Adobe Photoshop has made me want to get hold of a real airbrush, and use my PC to help produce the vehicles in CAD.

Hi David and a warm welcome to the Scale Models forum. We seem to have amassed quite a collection of resources from tutorials to build threads to hints and tips so feel free to have a good browse around.

There is also a lot of good guidance to be had from the gallery so well worth spending a bit of time in there.

We look forward to seeing more posts from you and feel free to share any of your own experiences and pictures.

Hello David, you will find a wealth of information already stored here in our archives,to find the kind of material that you need just place say 'airbrush' into the 'search' box at the top of this page, every mention about airbrushing will appear as a list,I think that you will be pleasently surprised as to the amount of specialised knowledge on tap here,in fact if it has not been covered already we can soon put that right ! we hope that you enjoy your time here and feel free to join in with any discussions, all part of the fun, thank you.
