Thanks for sharing mate. It's going down a storm. If I look at a plant it dies. That's why I am patioing all my back garden. I'll buy your leftovers:smiling3:
For the green fingered amongst us I have some more photos showing the increase in size since the 28 th May.
These were taken this morning, with the weather being warm and a great spurt has taken place.

Very little water has been given and only from the base of the saucer. Whats interesting is the left hand pot has had a third germination take place from since the first photo.
Those of you that have sown seed keep a close watch , Jim as soon as the germination has started remove that top cover. Keep the surrounding compost dry and water with a puppet at first until the seedlings have gain strength, as you can see in the above photo.
Hi John
Drum roll please :smiling5: Just germinated today. All advice taken although I am not sure I have a puppet capable of watering the seedlings - may use a pipette instead

Jim :tongue-out: .
Sorry mate , typo, :smiling2: but changed now(. Like that we can do that ).
Compost looks good , nice a gritty, thus allowing good drainage . Don't over water with that Puppet :surprised: a mere spot of water around the the base will do for a couple of days .
John.
Trust you ! :smiling2: Si .
If you were ordering from the Amazonain people you have several hrs to cancel, if not they send headhunters !

Tales from the green house.
Ivan Thrower here , and a good morning .
Today I have potted on 8 of the young plants as they are certainly bigger enough and growing the 2 set of leaves.
I have potted 4 into pots that were first given a light watering, the next , the next 2 pots of 2 have had water put in from the bottom only.
Just want to see if this will show any difference.

Will check later to see if the two pots on the center and right of the photo has survived.
For those sharp eyed followers ( RON ) those plants in the out side of the green house are not what you might think .:tongue-out3:
Nice Si, do you get much slug /snail damage on them. We had to grow ours last year in the green house in one of those three tiered tubs .
Your compost looks nice and sharp. As I' ve said watch the watering dry is better than damp.
John .
To days photos .

All have survived the transplanting. I will do another 10 /to 20 during the week . Just keeping the soil slightly damp .
John.
