    Help Resin

Hi everyone my engines just arrived for my tamiya German truck, never used it before whats the best way to deal with gluing and painting. have removed all flash and sanded things smooth, will it take acrylics and what glue?

    Cheers

Give the parts a wash in warm water and washing up liquid I find using an old toothbrush helps, just becarefull of any small parts/details

Then use a good primer first something like Alcald, Tamiya or Vallejo

Super Glue (a thick gel one) will give you a bit more time to line the parts up

Five Minute epoxy is better loads of time to line everything up

Paints once primered all will be ok to use

    Hope the above helps

    Regards

Hi Martin , be careful sanding and cutting resin it can be very dangerous , if you can do any cutting outside and wear a mask and wash your hands after , you will need to wash and prime the engine first or the acrylic may rub off as for glue I use superglue .

      cheers
