For the prop, I used the clear plastic like comes on greeting card boxes, with tapered plastic braces on the spinner for support.
Rub a black permanent marker along the edges to make them disappear.
The main thing with that Modelcraft kit, the wings set too high (too much space between the tops of the door and the bottom of the wing), which I fixed on mine....
.... which required making a new windshied, so I thermoformed one from the kit piece and trimmed off the bottom.
I thermoformed a new rear window and window post, as the kit is molded "old Skyhawk style".
Everything's hand painted.
Dropped the flaps, deflected the Elevator, and opened the window.
"Speed-Blur" process...
