    Preventing balsa dust.

Balsa Dust as we all know will settle everywhere, stick to your television screen, computer screen, gets into your clothes, down your socks and even when you have a bath it just seems to be everywhere ! everyone knows what happens when you are sanding and it gets trodden in all over the house, but wait a minute there is a solution to this age old problem and it is so simple, get yourself the biggest clear plastic bag you can find, ideally they come with all sorts of products, when the weather is too wet or cold to go outside and do the sanding just stick your hands into the opening of the bag and sand away to your hearts content, all of the bits just fall into the bag, dust, debris everything,it also stops you choking from the dust,if you have ever used really old dry balsa then you will know what I mean, they dont call me Balsabasher for nothing so go get that large clear plastic bag and save your household from that floating balsa dustscreen and beat the dust problem.

I made a "sanding cabinet" from a large cardboard box with a sheet of clear plastic over the top.

Hand access was effected by heavy duty rubber gauntlets and a vacuum cleaner was connected to a suitably sized opening. This sucks all the dust away.
