    Saturn 1B & Saturn V both 1/70th Apogee Rockets.com

Whilst waiting for a replacement for my TES Challenger 2 as it was missing the top section completely I decided to build these two that I’ve had in my stash for about two years and these were built over the Christmas New Year. Period. I’ve not included any details of the as basically they just cardboard tubes with vacuum wraps The only difficult part is the painting The actual models themselves are fairly crude. Yeah they look the part the Saturn V is over 5 feet tall so it is impressive but they’re not like a proper construction kit, as in reality these are flying models that should be powered by small rocket motors so I’m not gonna knock them too much but I thought you might like to see them before I start the next tank in my sequence, which is a replacement for the one that is
is missing the top of the hull Click image for larger version

        Cool, looks very big!
I did the Airfix lunar lander when I was a kid, and I actually have one of the larger Lego Lunar lander kits in the garage waiting for me to build it, (as I also build Lego kits).

          Very good indeed.
I have built a few real space kits and visited the KSC - much more interesting and entertaining than the theme parks.
You and I seem to have similar modelling tastes - automobiles and space vehicles are all I build all though I am nearing completion of the original USS Enterprise.
