Revell 1/72 Space Shuttle Atlantis

Another from the shelf of doom been sitting around for a few months so once again its a quick dust off and out with the paint as I took 2 days of masking and painting and another 2 for the decals.

LOVELY model Peter as ive always loved the shuttle as when this came into being in real life i thought horray humanity has got a proper spacecraft at last an we have moved away from them stupid step rockets but no they have now gone an put it in a museum an put us all back 50 yrs back to the stupid step rocket again an them step rockets are just as danerous as the shuttle in fact i think the shuttle was a better an safer machine rant over but nice model Peter an is that in the bay parts for the ISS ? an will this stand up agaisnt the LOX TANK an the SRB's ? as near the back undercart i see a steel pin each side ?

nice you don't see a build of those everyday. The heat shields look good.
