    Completed -Space:1999 "Eagle 1"

My wife and I were trolling around the LHS and came across this kit of the eagle transporter. It contains a poster-card which 1 kit at random has a signed copy by Nick Tate. Ours did not

Nonetheless, here she is, about a week later, more or less finished. I may do some touch ups here and there but for now, I am satisfied enough.

    Thanks for viewing!

I love it Steve it looks so cool , did you build the cockpit on that or does it come with the kit ?

It's a cheater's method. The crew in the cockpit are just decals. But I had to add them, it looked a bit plain with the tinted windows only

Nice work Steve, and a pleasure to see you back mate. Nice work on the E-T, looks great and the cockpit detail really lifts the model.

These are hard to come by but they do turn up on evil bay , I've seen them being sold for £40/50 i built the airfix one when I was a kid and this is supposed to be the same kit but I can't say that is true

I paid about 20£ or about 40.00$ for mine. It looks like a reboxing. The box front says MPC, the sprues are stamped ERTL. The whole thing says Made in China. Not bad really, I left out some things that should be decalled, in favor of painting instead. Took maybe a week, and that's because I got lazy part way. I had to apply 2 coats of flat white paint to bring it out enough though, and added some grey bits for some variety. And some 'duck-egg blue' here and there for the same reason. Too easy to do too much with these things though.

The box art is the same as from the 1975 edition by FunDimensions. I could have got this kit at the comic-con for £30-but faffed and messed about and then lost out...silly boy.
