nostromo platform scratch build

Hello every one,
wanted to do this model for a long time but could never find any cheap domes until the end of last year and on a visit to the Range, I managed to find some Christmas baubles which you can paint your self and the final pieces fell into place. I grabbed two different sized baubles and headed home to get started on the platform, and here is the results of my work. The model is all scratch built with a few model kit parts added it is 30 inches long 22 inches wide and stands 20 inches high, it is quite heavy due to the hundreds of small bits added, she will be going on display in TRANSPORT MODELS OF PRESTON LANCS next week please let me know what you think as this always help me to improve my models.

I guess that means it must look a little like the platform then OR its so bad you have had to go and lie down for a while, to get over the shock

Well I must correct myself the model will NOT be going on display in TRANSPORT MODELS OF PRESTON due to the fact that a friend has bought the model from me and it will soon be on its way to Greece its new home, but I will add that a visit to the model shop will not do you any harm as they have a great range of kits, railways, boats, planes and everything in between and if they have not got it they will try very hard to get it for you, nice sound advice and help. Give them a try they also have an internet service.
