    WALKING GUN PLATFORM.

I have put this in this section as it is futuristic but I suppose it could also go in the military section.

This is fairly large and I wanted it go with my 1/16 RC tanks as something a bit different.

It started out as a toy and I scrapped some of the top parts, a lot of kitbashing, measuring and cursing was done.

It was repainted, leg sections painted, weathering and a basic two colour dot camo added before a final oil wash.
The gun part was added to with small bolts, what a chuffing faff that was, various bit-box parts, metal mesh. The main gun is from an old RC PIV with a inhaler top as the mantlet with a rubber grommet/sheath over the top, The cockpit was a toy dozer, stripped and various kit/scrap parts added-this was a pain to fit and get just right-the figure is one from a pound shop-the new Tron film figure had it ages-cos, you never know :smiling5: it had some surgery on the legs to get them to move further into the body and to stop the screen from hitting them.
The screen can move up and down (the screw will be replaced with a small nut and bolt at sometime).
Various decals added and a matt varnish coat added to seal.

It moves and turns 360 degrees and the screen moves up and down.

Was to be a bit of fun-struggling with pain-was not expecting it to be more of pain in the 'you-know-what', should have know really, that is what modelling is :smiling3:

First outing at the club on Sunday.

Futuristic thing you've created there Si. Although probably not that too-far in the future...

Yeah, agree with you Joe, can see these things on the battlefront in maybe 25 years, you never know. Glad you like the bestie.
