    Talking about doing the Krupp Protze, and he pulls out one of his old models, done without any magnification......mutter mutter mutter

    Apparently, the gold was improved by a brown ink wash - now you know why I'm happy with what I normally turn out!

    Looks good doesn’t it Gerry. If you want to wind him up in return, tell him he’s spelt “presence“ wrong......he hasn’t, but I bet he has to check it!

      Relations can be aggravating at times! May years ago ( 30+) I used to dabble in watercolours - I wasn't bad, I had to work at it, at least you could tell what I was painting. My father suddenly took an interest ( he never had done before ), and asked to borrow my pad and paintbox. The result was paintings that were almost commercially saleable! He admitted that he hadn't done any painting since he was in school, and it just came to him naturally.....................
      I don't think I did many watercolours after that
