    Tracy Island for my grandson

So as not to hijack Ian's wonderful TB 1 thread any further, I thought I would just post this which I built for my grandson a few years ago.
It is of course the Blue Peter version, and this is when I discovered Sculptamold-wonderful stuff!
I wish I had taken a few shots with the toys in place, but they were the birthday present as well so I could hardly break the packaging.
    I doubt it has survived.....

And not an empty washing-up liquid bottle or piece of sticky-back plastic in sight! You'll never get your Blue Peter badge at this rate!

        Neil,
I seem to remember that the 'proper' model of Tracy Island ( by Matchbox? ) was the Xmas present to have, but were unobtainable due to low production/high demand. Blue Peter stepped up to the mark & did their own DIY build in instalments on TV. It was very popular - I wonder now, how they got round copyright/registered design legal problems

Don’t know Dave, but it was so popular they repeated it several times....here’s one I made earlier (sorry, I just had to get that line in)....,,
