    Tamiya 1/100 Space shuttle Atlantis

I have been holding off on this until I found some tile decals of witch I have now ordered.
Here's some of the work done so far the cockpit is well detailed but it's a shame it won't be seen when it's installed. Click image for larger version

I have just taken a quick Google and they emerge in the cargo bay via a hatch at the bottom as hatches are just behind the pilots seats to get to the deck below

THANKS Jakko for putting on these diogram cheers i thought the space shuttle was a brilliant craft an to put it in a museum well im discusted i would have thought they would have made a uprated shuttle as the system worked an very sorry about the people who died in the accidents

If it works well but is more expensive than other things that work just as well, chances are itโ€™s going to get retired โ€ฆ

BTW, if โ€œmight-have-beenโ€ Space Shuttles (and other real space stuff) are of interest to you, I can recommend For All Mankind.

That is a really unusual and interesting subject - thanks for sharing the schematics!

bit short of Tamiya, not to provide the rest of the crew though. I know they wont be seen, but neither will any of the cockpit details, but they included them. Nice build by the way.
