That's looking great, you could most likely get several different greys from Halfords if you wanted to spray can it and then like Si said weather it up with a brush after?
Have you thought of just priming and then top coat in spray, then your excellent brushed weathering, may get a better finish.Si

Thanks for the advice guys but I'm not too clever with a rattle can and I don't want to chance it , Santa is bringing me the complete set up because I've been a good boy this year so I'll wait until then to ruin my builds
Just cleaned and built part of the midships , got a bit of filling on this bit and while I was cleaning it up I broke a chunk off but it should not be too much of a problem [ATTACH]87396.IPB[/ATTACH]
Time for an update , I've been quite busy of late and only been able to do bits on this but I have now finished the engine section bar weathering it [ATTACH]87618.IPB[/ATTACH]

Also I've built the midships section , this was not fun , large gaps all down the sides and the centre detail had to be cut down by quite a bit [ATTACH]87620.IPB[/ATTACH]

just a little bit of tidying up on this section and I can prime it
