I've been busy with masking and painting, masking and painting, and rinse and repeat.

Here's a few pictures of my work so far, I was dreading all the colour changes at first but I am well happy with the overall look, oh and yes it is a darker blue than seen in the films but more to the original blue in the comics.

I was tempted to get one of these for my son to tempt him into the world of modelling. Looking good.

Looks good Adrian, the masking seems like even scarier than the Mk. 42

This should be the final update before the reveal, I've never done so much masking and painting, re-masking and painting. On a side note I've learnt that certain Alclad products don't like working as one, so never use normal Alclad colours such as Hotmetal red over the Bright Silver Candy Base, the reaction is the top coat goes black! Likewise never try to spray Candy Indigo over normal Alclad Chrome it bubbles and pools away and finally never spray metaliser sealant over any Alclad product, the result is a gloop that's not easy to remove to start over. I think I will post this advice on the paints section for people to heed

Anyway just a few more parts to finish off then the few decals and he's done, hopefully by the weekend.
