That looks much better than the pre painted version I've seen , nice jobAre theses the same as the revell ST snap kits ?
These MPC/Ertl SNAP kits are not pre painted. They are just light grey. The Revell ones (from the ones I've seen) are pre painted. The fittings male/female, seem to be the same.

Cheers Andrew I might have a look for that star destroyer
ta Richard, Andrew, i will give it a shot, and see how i go,only some times i cannot get sent down under for some reason,
If you have troubles sending something down under Monica, I'm sure someone here could do that for you. I recently sent some car parts to a VW club member in Malta - he couldn't find a company willing to ship it!
So a brief little update as model time has been hard to find recently.
The drive engine is non existent on the model,
so I scratch built one from some styrene and wire mesh I have (frying pan splash guard)

I decided to open/cut out the Command Viewports and then use a bit more styrene to make open Command Viewport shutters.

After looking over the model I felt that a few greebles here and there may add a bit more texture to the model, so with a few cut-off bits of styrene, I placed a few greebles here and there and place a thin armour skin in the side of the Command Section.

And that's it so far. May stick a few more greebles on here and there. Few sprays of paint etc.
So after a few weeks of no modelling time and a birthday party thrown to boot...I managed to get a little progress done. Just a bit of painting with the Iwata Neo that I purchased from SMS...ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh wow!!!!!
After using my cheapo Chinese AB, this Neo is soooooooo smooth.
Anyway, primed the model again, gave it a few panel pre-shading lines, and then a light coat of Vallejo Light Grey.
