Need to add something to the black to give some contrast not sure yet where to go on that, I think iam going to do a OSL effect on the lights.

Whats an OSL!? Some of the angled panes could be repainted with the tiniest difference in shade in favour of grey? or matt, semi gloss?

OSL, means object source lighting painting the clear lights to make them look as if they are on.
