Day of the daleks 1\5 Gold dalek leader.

I got this Sevan's kit on the cheap so I have decided to build the gold dalek from Pertwee's day of the sales.
And I have decided to have a fully functional gun and on my first try I have got I right.
Here's some of the work on the gun as the kit supplied one are inaccurate so I have cut it off and replace it with a hollow tube and have built up the inside parts.
The dome has already been finished and the main construction is easy as this is a later moulding.Click image for larger version

The Best of the baddies in DR Who! Looking great and the dome looks so authentic.
I remember Jon Pertwee as my first Dr Who and the weapon flicked back an forth in and out if I remover rightly, did the BBC put in the special effects after ?
I'll be watching this one with awe

    Regards

    Robert

Totally agree with Robert about these being one of the best baddies in the Dr Who world. I always thought I'd just run upstairs but then they learned to fly :smiling2:
I'll definitely join the watchers for this one.
