    Cybermen

Waiting for the weather to improve so I can spray my Merkava I pulled these out of the cupboard as a bit of a fill in. I bought the sprue of eBay a while a go for £1. They are Warlord Games 28mm figures. I grew up watching Dr Who and saw these develop from people in tinfoil suits up to the latest incarnation. I would normally spray undercoat but have brush painted these two.

This one has been painted in Oily Steel and has had a black wash applied. More progress soon and the suns out.
    Happy Easter

Nice work Mick. It was a real 'behind the sofa' situation when I first saw these as a kid in the 60s - terrifying.

Does bring back memories - Tom Baker was my Doctor Who of the time!

:thumb2: I remember watching the very first episode Mick, think the Doctor was played by William Hartnell. As Peter says very scary at the time .

Just got the cyber bugs to finish. These really are a fun, quick build. Now on the lookout for some more, might even invest in the box set

Looking good mick , who would have thought that a few blokes wrapped in tinfoil with silver wellies could have been that scary to a young kid !! Used to scare the crap out of me , i think it was the blank face that gave them a really creepy vibe ! Daleks didnt really bother me but these had me behind the settee! Cheers tony

With the Daleks you only needed to go upstairs - the Cybermen could follow you! Great work Mick.

Not my thing Mick but they are beautifully done. Very impressive. Good luck with the box set. Cybermen and Romans - you just gotta luv this hobby:smiling3:

Thanks Steve. I enjoy doing gaming figures as a fill in during bigger builds.
