I have the first seven panels on the skirt with not much problem but when I put the last four on they didn't quite line up but with a lot of sanding it's sorted and it's first undercoatClick image for larger version

First couple of coats of paint on the main three sections and courtesy of John and another quick delivery I now have enough gold paint and I am surprised I only needed two coats.Click image for larger version

Just finished off the head and neck section and also finished off the skirt so it's just the mid section to finish.Click image for larger version

It's certainly a different type of model, I like it. Hadnt heard of Dr Who until I came to the UK in 1977 aged 12, I did enjoy them the new ones however are, well a bit surreal, where have the old advissaries gone, daleks, cybermen etc, bring them back I say.....
