    I've just scratch built a hull for one of these the first varnish coat drying as I type

          Yes it will be I am putting a brushless in it. I won't be doing slow with it.

            Should shift with brushless in, have you got the ones with reverse as they have come down in price now. What scale you making it to? 1/32 1/24?

              It is a 1/32 build a copy of the Keil Kraft eezebilt something i had as a kid im keeping with the schoolboy ethos and will try and scratch build everything so it will probably be stand off scale, i havent bought an esc yet so not sure if i will get a reverse.
              I do have another hull I built kicking around for a scale 70' fast launch I ought to dig that out.

                Nice on Si. Just a thought but have you a safety line from the hull to the deck. I know those magnets are going to hold it on OK but I have seen things slowly sink to the bottom after hitting chop in the water.
                Good thing you held off on the rust. Wood boats dont rust that much its mostly the exposed bolts and fittings.... ;-)
