    SMALL RC'ed PLASTIC SHIP.

When I got some time I went back and sorted out my plastic model kit that is RC'ed. As she had not been on the water in...well...years, she had a tank test (bath) to check for leaks and then the electrics were tested, I swapped out an old 40 mhz receiver and replaced with a 2.4 ghz receiver and she handled rather well.

As you can see she isn't big and I would struggle now to do something like this with my dodgy hands but it was nice to dust her off and get her going again.

    That's a nice ship until I read I couldn't believe that's RC.
And nice to see you about again.

Thanks Peter, it was done many years ago and I have sold or given away many of models to make room for others, this one I kept and forgot about. It was nice to see her running again.

Cracking work Si. I'm glad you got this one back sailing again, and nice to see you back.

Thanks Ian, I do still potter about when I can, was surprised she was still water tight.

I could not remember the kit or the name until somebody reminded me, it is the Shell Welder, coastal tanker and it was an old Frog kit. Chuffed you like it Steve.

That's awesome Si. Not much rust on it, which is unique for your builds
