RC MODEL OF A ARAB DHOW.

    This is my Arab Dhow.

She is plank on frame and is RC.

I have kept her tidy as she is made from various soft and hard woods and looks too good for me to rust Besides, rust doesn't rust...damn.

I have added embellishments, the roof cover, tyres and rugs (these are actually stored on deck as the crew use them to sleep on)

Sorry Moni, way behind in catching up. Thank you so much, glad you like her.

I have just fitted a diesel sound system that is proportional to the throttle, very loud but when on the water it should be okay.

Hoping to get some piccies of her this Sunday sailing.

She looks fine, and an unusual subject to model. Where ever you take her I am sure she will stand out amongst the other model boats.

Hi guys, had her on the water last Sunday, fitted a diesel 'pop-pop' sound unit in her that is proportional to the throttle...unfortunately...I forgot the camera 'DOH!'

She sailed well, but due to her shape and what she is made of she tended to heel over in even slight wind so she will only sail in calm weather. Looked good though, and apologies again for being a dim-wit and forgetting the camera.
