    1-72 Higgins Boat Completed

Well here it is, for better or worse.
I can see faults but I'll keep them to myself.....
It looks more or less how I hoped it would , so I'm a generally happy boy, and ready for the next obsession- er, challenge.
Thanks all for the encouragement and kind comments along the way.
    cheers
    Neil

          Hi Neil
Well I think it looks superb. The sea is very realistic and to get that many figures to all fit so well is a real credit to you.

Brilliant job. 10/10 for perseverance. There's no way I could paint all those figures. And the sea, suitably grey.

An outstanding build which is well deserved of all the high praise. Looking forward to seeing your next project

Peter,Ralph,Pete, Jim, Chris,Andy,Bob, Paul, Colin, Steve and Si-
Thanks very much ,guys! It means a lot to have such comments from so many talented people.
I have to admit the photographs have come out better than I expected.
I really don't have the patience for photography so I didn't try very hard at all. I just found some grey card for the background and pointed my phone at it using my work light (LEDs, for anyone who's interested)and the ambient fluorescent light in the loft- there's no daylight......
I have cropped the close-ups which I took from further away in order to get a better depth of field, but that is the sum total of my photography effort.
                          Anyway,thanks again everyone.
I feel a change of scale is on the cards, and probably a change of period as well.
                          Cheers
                          Neil
