    dragon USS PRINCETON CVL23

The kit was built over a period of nine weeks I also added an Eduard set mainly because I wanted the extra detail on such a large model which is 550mm long and 100mm wide it's built to 350 scale

The quality of this kit is outstanding better than tamiya dare I say

The model was finished with tamiya primer and acrylics shot through a badger renegade then after decals a thin coat of Vallejo Matt was applied hear and there rust was done with AK rust set

The aircraft were quite tricky as they are moulded from clear styrene I did add some scratch built trolies for the torpedoes and the pitot tube on the avengers

I also ordered some extra crew figures but I have run out of patience waiting for them to arrive must be on shore leave somewhere so the kit supplied 18 crew will have to do for now

Got to say I do like aircraft and ships so this was a good build for me despite Dragons appalling instructions which marr a superb kit fit wise

    Roger

Looks fantastic Roger, never trust a matelot, he's bound to be ashore getting lashed up

Really nice Roger, never built a Dragon ship but they do look nice, done a great job there. Good thinking on the display case, be a hell of a dusting job
