    Airfix Discovery 1/144

This is an old Airfix kit, quite a few parts had to be fabricated, the kit comes with a few figures, a few dogs and a sleigh. The upper deck was basically just a floor, so when I put on of the figures on it he ended up flat faced on the deck as soon has I touched the ship. He was not very happy about it but then the damn dogs would not stop laughing, that's when the trouble started, he got real angry , . Man, did I get an earful... So, I made him a deck and he was real happy about it, he even waved back at me... .

Seriously, this represented quite a challenge to me, I know it has a few issues like the white line is too large (my head was out to lunch ) the upper deck should be different but it was not possible at this scale to do different. Oh well, it is what it is, will try to do better on the Napoleon from Imai.

That is top work, and very nicely presented too, Norman.

              Hi guys,

              Many thanks for the appreciation.

BTW: Any of you have anything on the Napoleon (Imai 1/150) by any chance? Been looking for info for days now, I'm just about to call 911
