Revell 1\96 Cutty Sark finally finished

After just over a year it's time to call this one finished only has simple rigging as I found my hands to big for the detailed rigging and plus the instructions had gone missing but I still enjoyed the build.

Great looking ship Peter, the rigging still looks busy enough.:thumb2:

Oh and out of curiosity, what is the dazzle painted ship in the background of the first photo?

Hi Peter
Great result. The rigging does indeed look stressful enough as it is. Just found your thread on the building of this. After the shelf collapse all credit to you for continuing. I have the smaller 1/220 scale version which I must get round to one day.

The first boat I ever looked around. I admire your tenacity to stick with this mammoth project. A wonderful finish

Lovely result. There's enough rigging to give a good effect.Hard to tell that it's a plastic model and not wood.

Nice build, one of my favourite ships. It has such lovely lines.

Fantastic work Peter. I keep thinking about getting a sailing ship one day. ( Kit ) But all the rigging puts me off, and me and ships, I never seem to finish them.

What did you use for the rigging? What diameters?

Thanks.

Most of the rigging was the kit supplied stuff and spares leftover from previous ship builds but I have no idea what the diameter is.
