Ralph that's a great job you did on this detailed kit ! One question however, won't you paint a tadd of gloss varnish on your sea base ? It looks pretty mat on the images.

HI again Ralph yes she looks great a work of art but it would look even better if she was escorting a carrier say Nimitz or enterprise an she had a helo on the filght deck but that's just what I think

It would look great with a carrier.Many years ago I did do a 1/700 carrier(can't remember which one)with a Fletcher class destroyer.
I know what you mean about the helo,but quite often I leave them off.
