Another nice build Ralph, what measure camoflage is the Naiad wearing...I'm thinking of doing up some of my 1/700 ships. A friend of mine said I was opening up a can of worms when I started accumulating stuff for this genre. :smiling6: So far I have a mixture of Japanese, American and British navy ships.

    Cheers,
    Richard

This is a Dido class anti aircraft light cruiser.

Another cracking build Ralph. How long does it take you to build each one from start to finish.?

I thought maybe light cruiser or huge destroyer. Seems a mix of both w/torps & lighter but more main guns. Can see as AA cruiser now. Cruisers are kind of an ignored class. Many were built by USN as escorts for flattops & convoys. Nice choice. PaulE

I believe it to be camo scheme 507a.
I have seen a few distance pics of the ship and decided to go with these colours.I tried to do a faded look so instead of doing a hard edged pattern I freehand sprayed the camo.
To be honest it is probably totally wrong but never mind I enjoyed the build and painting:smiling3::tongue-out3:.

This took me 7 days to complete I started it Monday last week and finished it yesterday.
Each kit takes me different amounts of days depending on parts count etc.
