The part of HMS Compass Rose was taken by HMS Coreopsis - she'd been transferred to the Hellenic Navy as Kriezis in 1941 & remained with then until 1952 - returned to the RN, she was waiting for disposal in Malta, when she was acquired by Ealing Studios for her starring role. It didn't take long & she arrived for scrapping in Sunderland. July 1952..................

I have some news regarding this build, it is to be in Model Boat Magazine, the editor is to do a feature. It has been written and is being finalised, unsure of what issue it will be in.
