Completed. Hobbyboss 1/200 USS Pegasus 'flying' at 40+ knots.

Despite me moaning in the build about the silly little plastic and P.E. bits, this is a very nice and unusual kit which makes up into a great little model.

I had a tough time getting the hydrofoil 'waves and wash' summat like. I ended up layering the silicone and I used white cushion stuffing for the ship's turbine effect.

The base is an old floor tile, suitably surfaced with silicone.

Here is the model. I hope you folks approve.

Thanks for the support and nice posts during the build. At times I needed all the encouragement going!

    Cheers and thanks for looking.

To quote George Formby: "Turned out nice again!"

You really should oughta be earning megabucks doing stuff like this for the film industry. They'd save a fortune not having to build full scale sets!

Very effective indeed Ron. I didn't realise it was quite as small.

When Mrs Ron tries to get comfortable in her chair you're in big trouble :rolling:

Surely our Ron's not that daft - is he? He'd use the stuffing from his own chair rather than risk upsetting SWMBO wouldn't he? Where's he gonna find another such skilled'chucker' if she quits?
