She sails as good as she looks! Now that you have proven to yourself that you can do this in "Braille Scale"....how about an aircraft carrier in say,1/32nd scale! :tongue-out3: Top job on this one Garry.:thumb2:

Thank you Rick, haha not so sure about aircraft carrier in 1/32 though.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

1/32 nd scale god Rick my USS NIMITZ was built in 1/144th scale an that was nr 9ft long pic below of it but even the smallest carrier in 1/32nd scale would be a monster an unhandleble

Beautiful. Even more amazing is how quickly you built her - can you refer to the 'Iron Duke' as 'her'?

Thank you Dave, and yes I believe all ships are referred to as being her. Why is a good question, I think it is just tradition.

You've done the Duke proud Garry, well done and as we said in the navy BZ.

In answer to the why is a ship called a she... I hope this helps

Why is a ship called she? “Ships are referred to as ‘she’ because men love them” or “like a woman, a ship is unpredictable”, tradition used to say. But seriously, what is lagging behind this language idiom?

For the fun side if it...
