I built this kit a long time ago. I was just finished it, when our house was burgled, and they wrecked it, totally destroyed, so I put it up in the loft and have not had the heart to begin to fix it, yhey took all the good out of it for me. But after seeing yours I might just attempt a repair

Always wanted to build one of these & R/C it, but the price was too prohibitive.

You have really done this justice, especially as you have had to deal with a semi built kit, not the easiest thing to do!

Beautiful model! What more can one say. Gets a 10 from me!

The Flower Class were certainly at the front of the U-boat war. It beats me why one was never preserved as a tribute to the men who served on them, and for the roll they played in the Battle of the Atlantic. One of these in the Royal Albert Dock in Liverpool would have been a befitting monument to all those who lost their lives whilst serving on them.

I thought I had commented on this, old age again.

As Gregg points out, this is a fave for RC conversion, set up correctly it looks superb on the water.

          Great modelling, great weathering...superb.

A really superb job Catalin..... very nicely executed with the weatering and rust streaks. I like that a lot.
