Excellent result Si. Kind of spooky like.....

The rusting and general ageing of the ship is really well done.....as for the silicone,10/10

        Cheers,

        Ron

Superb Si , I'm totally in awe of you guys who can make these seascapes look so amazingly real. Pic no. 3 looks like a choppy sea on a windy, sunny day with the huge rusting wreck providing the perfect centrepiece - i love it . Great build , and inspirational too - like rons lifeboat dios this has really made me want to try something with water. great job mate cheers tony

Kind words indeed Tony, thank you for them and really pleased you enjoyed my rusting hulk. I must admit that Ron's water effects are spot on, I tend to do a basic flat version but, it works for me.

Thanks Ian, yeah, it all came together nicely, apart from the top deck popping up slightly, but you don't notice it much, the painting and rusting just seem to go on like a dream. Glad you like it.

Now those photos have done it justice mate the light is superb and makes the shadows look realistic , the photos also pick up the different shades of the rust giving it a natural look

Thanks Al, me and photography are not a good mix, but I wanted to see if there was any tips that could help in future builds. Glad you like it mate, it is one that is going to Harrogate in May.
