    Completed - Revell 1/72 VIIC/41 'Atlantic Version' German U.Boat.

Brush painted mostly with cheap 'In the tube' children's acrylics. Detail painted with Vallejo Model Air acrylics using a fine point brush.
The rigging, although not much, was difficult. Trying to get the adjusters parallel was a real pain, not to mention the safety wires either side of the main deck by the conning tower!

Not liking rust on an operational U. Boat model, I went easy on the weathering. More stains really and a bit scummy. No flag either.

I intend to place the boat in 'water' but I'm somehow not in the mood just yet.......

You can only take so many pictures of a submarine so here they are.

The four main deck escape hatches.

The safety wires around the main deck/conning tower can just be seen.

That's a great boot Ron. I was wondering if the camo carried over to the upper hull. Now I know.
Great work with the rigging as well. I for one will look forward to her making a splash in one of your fantastic water dioramas.

                Hi Ron
A credit to your skills and it shows what a great result can be had without relying on the latest, costly add ons.
                Enjoyed the build.

                        Beautiful.

I know I suggested some sort of dio when you first started this Ron, but I gotta say now that I reckon that anything else added to this would just be a distraction. This is too good to be anything other than the centre of attention.
