I for one am getting a bit fed up of all these sunken wreck type models ...... I mean ... You buy a perfectly good kit then cover it in muck and stuff, spend ages getting it to look exactly like it been at the bottom of the ocean for ages .... Then you have to go and take pictures of it that make it look absolutely real and a few people have to second guess their selves ...... Hold on .... I didn't think this through really did I? ....

Cracking job ron, as always ..... And I hope I got you on the hook just as much as you did me when I glimpsed at this thread ... It didn't even click that you'd used the same model sub at first.

    Regard

    Mr. I M Gullible.

      Mr I.M. Gullible,

I'm sorry to read you think my feature is not quite what it seems. I can assure you there was no attempt at trickery on my part. Surely you believe everything you read in newspapers and see on T.V?

The assumption that it is a model is one that I find very offensive and quite untrue.

This draws a parallel with those who are convinced the Americans never landed on the moon....of course they did!!

I give you 10mins. to retract your slanderous post. I have informed you before now that I know your whereabouts...The committee are waiting to travel.....

        Dear capt. Suppards

If I believed everything on local media then I would have perfect skin, have a perfect figure with beautiful hair sitting on a beach advertised by the best travel agent ... All paid for by securing a payday loan that is so easy to pay back due to their low Apr.

I would also be watching the latest moon landing on my brand new, up to date mobile television DooDah purchased interest free? At my local 'cheap' brighthouse store.

If you wish to discuss this further in person, then as you have indicated above, you know my location and so I will be waiting for your visit with the kettle on ... May even have some biccies.

        Regards

        I M Gullible.

Why these idiots in councils seem to think they have the right to do what they want without being held accountable completely escapes me.I luckily got a chance to look through it before the morons cut it up and posted all the pictures on here in my gallery.
Kalm down, kalm down, kalm down,(in Liverpool accent)

Whilst I was there it did cross my mind that they cut it in three so as it fitted in the space it now occupies .

And judging by the state of the internals I don't think it could have been renovated to any standard.

So I think the option to cut it and look in was a good one because you can have 4 views up it.

And they don't like it up em.

Besides the inside of the museum is worth a look any ways it would take 2 days to read it all.

All in all I thought it was a good display

Proof of the pudding ,go and have a gander thyself.

And if you buy a combo ticket you can also have a go on the "Ferry across the Mersey ".

I can understand what Richards saying, and quite agree it should have been left as a whole, they could have designed somewhere to show it off.

After all you don't cut a Ming vase into three so it can be shown at a few museums at the same time eh?

A submarine and a vase is hardly a comparison in size.

You would cut it if it was a150 long and you only had a 100 foot to fit it in

I was using it as an analogy, And I'm sure they could have found some where big enough if they looked hard enough, obviously it wasn't deemed historically relevant enough by the powers that be.

                    Sad really.

That's all I have to say really, just my opinion.

                      LOL.

I saw the "Headline" and thought bugger I'm going to have to move it. Then I saw that it was Capt. R Suppards...that was the instigator of this news....

Brilliantly done Ron and a Welcome grin.
