Have you had a look at the Caldercraft Sir Kay model?

That is actually quite a popular kit and appears on Ebay fairly often. There should be pictures of her around on the net.

        Hi Paul,

Try John Lambert Plans at the following

I can thoroughly recommend his plan sets.

        Regards

David McGreggor used to list a 1:96 "Military" class armed trawler, HMS Grenadier. I believe these plans are now obtainable through SS Great Britain at Bristol.

            Sir Kay

            Hi

I built Sir Kay a couple of years ago. I used the Caldercraft hull and scratch built the rest using the John Lambert plan set.

Here's a link where you can view.

May give you a few ideas.

            Regards Julian.

                      Try this place:

I know they do it as I have just checked, and also keep an eye on Ebay as there always seems to be some on there in the RC Boats section.

On the subject or armed trawlers, have you seen this Russian Cold War Trawler with sonar and Torp Tubes hiding under the bow?

On the subject of armed trawlers ---does anyone have a photo they can scan and send me of a Strath Class trawler (side view, port or starboard) that would have been taken during WWII??

                              Paul.
