Now I can imagine how efficient this type of camouflage scheme must have been when I picture a gunner trying to hit that target all crossed-eyed! Talk about disrupting camo-scheme...

I`ve only just returned to scale modelling, after an absence of 34 years. The reason I stayed away so long? This boat! I built it, aged fifteen, and I`ve only recently managed to shake off the nigntmares of paint bleeding under masking tape, paint peeling off with the masking tape, and the comments of my (now departed) father ( a veteran of HMS Formidable) telling me that the "Royal Navy didn`t need to disguise their ships as zebras"!
