I agree with you there Martin,
Having said that, this was the maiden voyage (Flight..?) of that particular model and the video was only posted up on 30 May 2007, so only a couple of months ago, there are a couple more videos of it on that posters site as well as some very impressive other models too.
I am keeping an eye on this one and will let you know when he has more vids up covering the transition to land.
Regards.........MarkComment

Yes I remember seeing that one Sub, another very fine model too although that appears to be the american version the SK-5. I remember drawing up plans for this particular model many years ago but never got around to building it (I think I still have the plans somewhere too)Comment

Yep you are right it is the Bell SK-5 assault hovercraft from The U.S. Army which was used in Vietnam. Based on the British SRN 5 which they had on trial, then they got the licence to build them and finally came up with this design for the U.S.Army...Cheers SubComment

i have heard about these but never managed to see them in action, Absolutely fantastic, Not too sure about the flying down the street bit though ..with my luck it would end up either through someones car windscreen or the living room window !!, it would scare the .... out of them at my lake though.
Thanks for sharing that one:emo1:Comment
