Just received a set of brass propellers for my 1/200 Arizona from Sprue Brothers USA, comparing them against the plastic ones that came with the kit the difference in size is a lot, with the Sprue Brothers being a lot smaller, also the pitch of the blades are different ( yes I know I’m sad). I wonder who has got the size correct? Have any of you used Sprue Brothers before?

Form Wikipedia: "The ship had four direct-drive Parsons steam turbine sets, each of which drove a propeller 12 feet 1.5 inches (3.7 m) in diameter" so your 1/200 props should be 18.5 mm diameter.

Thank you very much Peter, SB’s are spot on, the kit ones are bigger, also the blade shape looks wrong to me. I’ve managed to find a photo of her in dry dock showing a good view of the port inner propeller and the Sprue Brothers look quite accurate, so I will go with these, thanks again.Comment
